I pretty much always take both my bourbon and Grind neat these days, but saw a mention of the Revolver cocktail and figured I'd give it a shot.
1oz bourbon, 0.5oz Grind (started at .3 and it was subtle, and opted for a bit more coffee in it), few drops of bitters. They compliment each other nicely (and Grind seems to have a ton of sugar in it, so I'm probably practically dropping a sugar cube into it, too). https://i.imgur.com/jbxHKJW.jpg |
Passed on some small batch 1792 & Russels Reserve single barrel *sigh*

Just picked up some Ezra Brooks Distillers Collection. Anyone ever had it?

I had never had Angel's Envy until last night. It's a pretty good low cost bourbon. It was smooth.

I just finished off my Evan Williams. It is really good for a low cost option. I was surprised how much I like it. I am going to go back to the well there.
It was a really solid drink. |

What is your Super Bowl game time pour? What is set aside for your Super Bowl Victory drink?
I’ve been alternating between 4Roses small batch, and a bottle of Cooper’s (in Old Fashioneds) for the regular season. Haven’t decided if I should step up for the SB or stick with what’s been working. |
I’ve got some Horse Soldier saved if we win.

I've set aside things before... like the KU NC where I said **** it and drank the celebratory beer at halftime when they were down by 15. LMAO Enjoyed a hard to find beer after LIV. I brought some 291 'M' for a Chiefs victory, but might just have a drink during the game anyway... what a time to be alive! |

Currently sipping on a Glengoyne 12 and a can of Alma Mader's "Levels" with Citra/Riwaka.
