Me, too. Daniel was mobile and accurate. He's a better fit for Andy's offense, which is why he's earning $7 million per and Foles is earning $1.5.

carcosa 11-06-2016 03:36 PM

Foles is bad

oaklandhater 11-06-2016 03:37 PM

When Alex has similar stats this year this post is so getting bumped

KCUnited 11-06-2016 03:39 PM

All he does is win in KC. I'll take that.

Stats? I know you're dumb but blind, too?

oaklandhater 11-06-2016 03:40 PM

Chiefs need to draft a qb very soon is what I took away from this game

dannybcaitlyn 11-06-2016 03:41 PM

I swear it was like Reid Neutered Foles as the game went on. The sack where west was open coming out the back fiield and the receiver on top had a couple steps on the defender deep and he didn't let it go. Earlier in the game he would have chunked it.

Lonewolf Ed 11-06-2016 03:41 PM

Alex is the current best option and it should be clear now.

1 tds and under 250 yards passing seems very Alex smithish

If Smith is playing we are never in the position to lose at the end because he would have taken the wide f**king open check down to Charcandrick for a 1st down on 3rd and 7.

It really seems like we're in this position all the time no matter who is Qb. This defense has had to make that stand many times to end a game. I'd rather chunk the whole scheme and get on the phone and bring Norv turner in to run this offense.

-King- 11-06-2016 03:47 PM

Typical.

Can I have some of what your smoking game would have been close under smith or foles

pugsnotdrugs19 11-06-2016 03:54 PM

You can't win consistently when your QB throws low percentage passes all the time. All Foles wants to do is make the big play. Shit's stupid, especially when you have a great defense to back you up.

He's a solid backup but Alex is the man for the job.

Nick Foles showed the same fatal flaws today that he has always shown.

He holds the ball way too long and refuses to take wide open check downs to convert first downs. He is far less accurate than Smith in the intermediate windows.

Not getting there with Foles.

Chiefshrink 11-06-2016 04:19 PM

So the interesting question becomes had Dorsey not signed Foles and Bray started today, would Bray have performed better ?

FringeNC 11-06-2016 04:26 PM

Nick Foles is who we thought he was.

Alex Smith has a mind meld with Andy Reid, and that was obviously missing today.

Weird though how much better the offense has looked this year with Ehinger in there.

Vs one of the worse teams in the NFL this is typical Chiefs offense business as usual

I'd have to agree.

It would be a tough call if Foles was a sound player, but it's his 5th year in the league and he still does the same old shit. He's a backup caliber player.

You're a ****ing moron.

First off, the Chiefs didn't play the Jets today. That's an apple to orange comparison.

Secondly, everyone knows your personal bias against Smith, so your opinion is even more worthless than usual.

Finally, I understand that some people would like to have a QB on the level of Brady or Rodgers or Brees or Rivers.

But Nick Foles ain't that. Not even close.

To be fair, Keenum and Foles are about the same level in terms of quality. One QB was just much, much cheaper than the other.

The combo of them being barely passable, along with being in a huge market all of a sudden, definitely made for ripe power move up the draft conditions.

He acted like he was playing Madden in the first half, in that half he had two genuine beauts with one going for 6... and then a bunch of WTF?

You cant run a consistent offense using the Sexy Rexy Method... sometimes the best play is the 8 yard throw, or yes... even the checkdown

And Brady still runs a WCO In my opinion and he does quite well in it. Brady's my quarterback in my fantasy football league, (Big payout) so im watching him ALOT, dude checks down alot more than anyone ever talks about, and he also does alot of those WR screens and RB screens, just like us...
