To be fair, German Shepherds are notoriously finicky and quirky. They don't respond to affection as lovingly as most other dog breeds do. I also imagine that Hitler had servants take care of Blondie for most hours of the day. The guy was pretty ****ing lazy. Yes, that's just a conjecture on my part; I have no proof that Hitler was distant to Blondie, but if he was, that explains Blondie's somewhat neurotic behavior in that video.
