This is who he was groomed to be. You think daddy ever sat him down to discuss the importance and merits of humility? Think they spent a lot of time discussing how great leaders need to be great servants?

Think they practiced a lot of extreme ownership?

My dad couldn't run 40 yards in 40 days and never made much money. But I wouldn't switch childhoods with Shedeur Sanders for the world.

Guess we'll see as he grows up... it can take a lot to overcome the stupidity of your parents and he's still young.

Why the **** would he? They just drafted a QB a year ago.
What an absurd comment.

Lot of different ways it could end for him. He’s the one that has to do the “heavy lifting”. Hopefully character starts to drown out some of the ego.

Hard to feel bad for a guy who turned down chances to work out in front of scouts, picked what teams he would meet with, did not test at all, throws his own teammates under the bus, on top of a circus that’s associated with it.

That’s on him for tanking his own stock by making shitty decisions.

At this point there are a number of teams who supposedly already have a starter who should be drafting Sanders as a possible upgrade. Just glancing at the 4th round tracker...

Carolina
Jacksonville
New Orleans
49ers
Colts
Pittsburgh
Rams
Jets
Browns

You know, when the mock drafts started for this draft and they were mocking Sanders as a high first round pick, I was surprised. I didn't ever think that he was that great. But, I just figured that it's the same as it always is and teams overdraft quarterbacks so he would probably go day 1. This fall makes more sense to me as far as his talent goes

Shiver Me Timbers 04-26-2025 10:00 AM

It comes as no surprise to me he is still on the board. I have witnessed first hand the cult of personality propaganda machine living so close to Boulder. Watching and listening to the talking sports heads for the past 2 years out here is like witnessing a religious cult with the Sanders. Retired his number-LOL- Shitters whole life has been one of arrogance and entitlement.

Papa got him 6 or 7 mil in NIL. This is the last real money he makes from football and he blows it on cars and jewelry. Rolls Cullinan- 400k/Maybach-200k/ Hell Cat 100k / Vette- 80k / Cybertruck/100k- parking them wherever he damn well pleased on and off campus. Rules don't apply.

My real hope was the Faid would take him in the first round. I thought if there was one team who would drink the Kool Aid it would be them.

I can’t remember the last time an NFL QB, no matter how much of jerk they are ever publicly throwing their OLine under a bus. Perhaps it’s common, I don’t know but I just can’t remember any.

Mahomes is an absolute master of somehow blaming himself for every hit and sack he takes no matter how bad the line play is. Like, when he's taking the blame, he'll tell you why and make you really believe that he believes it was his fault. He'll also cover for crappy receivers but he's an absolute wordsmith artist when it comes to defending his terrible offensive linemen.

This, plus I'll add that a lot of his success was when after defenses broke down. Having to rely on him in the pocket, to read the defenses is one of his negatives as well.

Having a Daddy that could always throw drama into the circus is another issue, what HC or GM wants this clown show.

Who wants to pay higher wages to a circus like this when you need players to build your roster to compete on the field, not in the media!

tredadda 04-26-2025 10:18 AM

I think the perfect place for him would be Buffalo. Barring injury he has zero chance of starting, it’s bitter cold (which Deion said he doesn’t want him going to a cold weather environment), small market so he will fade into obscurity and a long way from daddy.

Well I mean, that happened frequently because that Offensive Line was quite offensive.

He was a pocket passer first and got lit the **** up for it.

He’s far from the first son of a super elite/arrogant professional athlete to attempt to follow in his father’s footsteps. LeBron’s son, for just one example, turned out completely normal.

Shadeur has culpability for who he is and how he comes off to other people.
