He was pretty meh for the Packers after leaving the Chiefs too. He's only ever been really good in Seattle for whatever reason.

I figured a deal was close when they tagged him. Then, I also thought it was coming after the Thuney trade.

Why the **** do I keep seeing suggestions that KC is looking at Banks (SF) and Fries (Indy) in Free Agency?

Only makes sense if we’re trading Trey.

It all depends on how comfortable they are handing the starting job to in-house options at LG - Kingsley/ Caliendo/ Nourzad etc.

If they weren’t comfortable with their options they could have just restructured Thuney instead of paying free agency prices.
