Alex Smith was nothing short of phenomenal today.

The one major positive to come out of today's fiasco is Smith confirmed he can be the Chiefs answer at QB for the foreseeable future.

Paying 17 million for a quarterback isn't gonna kill the cap. He was already scheduled to make 11 million..just cut Dunta and Daniel and and give him their money.

Don't forget the jump Alex made between 2011 and 2012 in SF due to his ability to play at a higher level once he knows the playbook and system front and back.

If we can upgrade a couple skill position groups in the offseason, Alex is gonna have a big year in 2014.

In 3 playoff games, Alex Smith has 9 passing TD's, 1 rushing TD and ZERO INT's
