They can't fill every single need dude. It is what it is.

If they took a RB and Tranquil got hurt, or continues to regress, you'd 100% bitch that they did nothing at LB.

I think they would have addressed it earlier but it just didn't shake out. The tier 2 RBs went early Friday and any RB that the Chiefs were looking at after that is mostly just one big blob that's still available.

In other news, TwoBillsDrive just went into meltdown after Horton was taken.

They were already pissed with KC taking Royals, but Horton going 4 picks before them was really the icing on the shit cake . . . . . ROFL

Just saw where Sanders went. A fate worse than not being drafted LMAO

Dunerdr 04-26-2025 01:19 PM

Personally I’d get excited for Ollie in the 7th. If he snaps back into shape you’ve got a 3rd round caliber type guy for a 7th and he’s not an injury risk. Just got a dui, got kind of thick and ran with no motivation. Could see him getting hungry on a good team and being a 800 yard guy.

nychief 04-26-2025 01:20 PM

So we only have the 7th rnd picks left right?

RunKC 04-26-2025 01:20 PM

I think they might trade both 7’s to get back into rd 6 for a RB

True. As an undrafted FA, he could have chosen his own spot

BryanBusby 04-26-2025 01:21 PM

So far they have stuck to the visits list more than not.

RB
Micah Bernard, Utah
Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State
Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State
Cam Skattebo, Arizona State
Damien Martinez, Miami
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Arizona
Devin Neal, Kansas
Shunderrick Powell, Central Arkansas
Jared Casey, Kansas
Jaylin Richardson, Concordia St. Paul
Keyon Mozee, Miami (Ohio)
Marcus Carroll, Missouri
Nate Noel, Missouri
Shane Watts, Fort Hays State
Andrew Henry, New Mexico
TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State

Henderson and Judkins were pipe dreams. Outside of Scatman, the rest of them are still there afaik

lcarus 04-26-2025 01:22 PM

I like Brashard Smith out of SMU if we're going RB and he's still there. Looks fast and quick.

staylor26 04-26-2025 01:23 PM

Ohh I forgot about Jacory Croskey-Merritt.

I'd be all over that in the 7th assuming Martinez, Smith, and Neal are gone.

BossChief 04-26-2025 01:26 PM

Feels great to know that even though we only have 2 late 7ths left, there’s a good chance at we will hav e 2 more legit reasons to be excited.

JFC I can’t believe this draft has gone as well as it has.

Woogieman 04-26-2025 01:30 PM

I guess I'm left hoping for Donovan Edwards...Pacheco 40, but with better vision and breaks tackles

BryanBusby 04-26-2025 01:31 PM

Frazier was on my list as a RG possibility. They must feel good about potentially keeping a certain guy long term.
