It was a huge game. An important game. But not the best win in the history of the program.

If Missouri wins the Big 12 title that year and then plays for the national title? Yes, you can put it up there.

But with the way that season worked out, it is less important than winning the Orange Bowl, winning the Sugar Bowl, or beating Nebraska in 2003.

That 2003 win is the linchpin of the Pinkel era at Mizzou. I'd argue that without that win, nothing that we've seen Mizzou accomplish since comes to fruition.

I'll admit I was hoping mu and a and m would do well in the sec. It just proves how good the big 12 is.

I was at the 2003 Neb game, as well as the 07 KU game and the one we beat #1 Oklahoma. The Nebraska win was the cream of the crop for me.

Also, you're using one player, a FRESHMAN Dez Bryant, as a reason to call this a good win. Give me a break. I did look up the box score real quick though. KU's biggest win is against Bill Callahan. That says a lot.

All I said was it was the best win during the regular season in my opinion.

Oklahoma State. The Nebraska win was a whitewash unlike the cornhuskers had ever seen.

First time I ever felt like Missouri could ever be more than a team that made a bowl game with 6-8 wins about 1/2 the time.

Also, Nebraska was beat by 35 (courtesy of Mizzou) and 31 (courtesy of Ok St) prior to you guys beating them by 37. I'd say they were good and primed by the time you made them a bitch.
