Yeah, a deep draft for RBs you'd expect them to take someone.

Don't teams usually just draft the best player available in these later rounds?

Had a feeling about Bassa. I like that pick.

You called that one. Damn solid pick up.

I do understand the RB frustration though.

Guess we're going UDFA or 7th round selection stretch for a RB this year.

For the love of god we don't need a RB

Veach doesn't think so.

Andy doesn't think so.

The Clarks don't think so.

BWillie doesn't think so.

I don't understand their thinking honestly. A great running game unlocks this offense but right now we have the worst RB room in the NFL.

We need a pass catcher from backfield. Pacheco is a fine running back when healthy. Kareem hunt should really not even suit up if we were in even 30% as good shape as Ohio state was at the position

Why would you say that? Because they're not important to our offense or because the ones we currently have are good enough?

Obviously we do. We got hunt of the street last year

And we had the best interior line in the league and the worst yard per carry

You're not getting a 'great running game' by taking the pick of what's left. You're looking at a slew of JAGs here, IMO.

And the JAG you get in the 7th is almost certainly gonna be no worse than the one you take here.

Now you could argue that's the case at LB as well but the fact that they traded up to get Bassa says they clearly think otherwise.

Time will tell if they're right, but I think that's their reasoning.

Jeantry is already 2nd highest paid at position, and hasn’t even played yet.

Highest paid NFL RBs

Here are the top-10 highest-paid running backs based on total guaranteed value, according to OverTheCap:

You also can't have Mahomes continually be your leading rusher. I don't get it.

We had the best RB room we have had since 2018 last year. It revolutionized our offensive potential and helped us move the chains sooo many times vs previous years. Problem is Mahomes had the worst year he ever had because Kelce wasn't as good.

Our run game sucks and our QB shouldn't be our leading rusher.

LBs flying off the board now.

They had to rely on Carson Steele to open the 2024 season, get Perine after the 53 man roster cut downs, and pulled Hunt off his couch. Just odd they're seemingly content to sit and wait until the end of the draft.

JFC, yes they do.

The Chiefs had an historically explosive-less running game last year.

And to assume that a healthy Pacheco is magically go to solve that… when his longest career run is 48 yards… is naive.

The Chiefs need an Achane-type homerun threat at RB.

Vladimir_Kyrilytch 04-26-2025 01:05 PM

Damian Martinez is a bitch. I'll root for the Raiders if that untalented traitorous coward gets drafted by the Chiefs. Then again he'd force a trade after one season anyway.

**** him.

How many DUIs would it take for a player without talent or character to be taken off the board?

Is it really? I mean just look at what we've fielded in the past.
