I know Kelce is awesome but not too sure about Watkins place in this offense yet.. which I why I'm coming down harder on him.

Just saying, as a WR, how is he supposed to produce if he doesn't get enough targets?

He had 5 targets.. should net you more than 30 yards for $16m.

Watkins should spend the next week trying to catch bells that Mahomes throws as hard as he can.

Watkins should come into his own as the season progresses. The fact is his presence alone Is as vital to the offense as his stats will be moving forward. I thought he made a great run and catch in the redzone which lead to a TD. So he's already made a small contribution.

I also loved seeing some of the dumb media heads have to backtrack today. The likes of Kay Adams looked very bitter that her "AFC West favorites and superbowl finalists" got beat once again by the Chiefs :D

Watkins is going to be fine, he missed one and responded by snagging an important one to set up 1st and goal.

Tyreek was on a different level yesterday nothing wrong with feeding him the ball, there will be teams that decide to double up on Hill and that's when Watkins and Kelce will do their damage, the point is it's pick your poison not that they all are gonna be over 100 every game.

Not everyone is going to be a great player though, and sometimes once you lose confidence it's hard to get it back.

Then i maintain that said player doesn't have the makeup to make it in this league then.

Most dudes taken in the 5th round or going UDFA in a pass heavy league starved for good DB play tend to not make it...

Most players in general tend to not make it. The good ones do.

How did being thrown in the fire hurt Brandon Carr?

You're either going to be a good player or you're not. I don't believe in "damaging" players.

Players bust or they don't. It's really that simple. You're an NFL player, or you're not.

He was also drafted to play cover 2 which is much less stressful on a CB than this man up scheme is.

There’s just so much more to it though.

Look at Jared Goff as a prime example. Hell alex smith too

I have faith that he will and I actually thought about the bolded when Tyreek came out to go under protocol.

I'd just like to see some early returns on the most absurd contract of this offseason. As of yet, the dude hasn't even flashed some big play potential.

Yeah, we get it. You just don't have to keep beating that dead horse. I mean, it drives me nuts every time that your wife sucks my duck and gags on it too. But I don't insist on complaining g about it constantly. I still enjoy the rest of it.

That doesn't sound very Christian

You believe the Earth is 6000 years old. You are legitimately reeruned. Not even in a funny way.

Is it the feathers that make her gag?
