Very much so. I know it was hot, they were holding the shit out of him, and leaky coverage on the back end doesn't allow for much time to generate a pass rush, but we need more of an impact from him and Jones.

I was also disappointed with the lack of production from Kelce and Watkins, though. I'm sure Kelce and Houston just had rare off games. I won't worry about them until we get a few weeks in.

But playing football, getting reps, does not ruin good players.

If a player is so mentally weak that he can't respond to adversity, then he's simply not wired to be a great player. ESPECIALLY at the DB position.
