Empty seats all over the place.. Full half empty sections.
No emotion in the stadium whatsoever unroll the 4th quarter of game.
Even pregame atmosphere was non existent.

Don't try and tell me that's a rivalry game.

It's a fabricated rivalry pushed so hard by A&M and to only try and replace Texas.

Heard a couple Arkansas fans call up to the radio and laugh at the notion on missouri being their rival. Petro was like "but they are a better program than you are".

The caller was like, "Our rivals are Texas and LSU"

Petro "LSU doesn't consider you a rival. Their rivals are Alabama and Florida, etc...real football schools"

Then the caller said "well...uh, Texas too even though we thump them whenever we play."

Which is funny because UT has destroyed ARK the last couple times they've played and the series is 56-21 in favor of Texas.

These forced rivalry things bring the best out in the homer fanbases.

There is exactly one rivalry on the Big 12...basically because there are only two teams in the conference anyone cares about. Texas sucks out loud, and Oklahoma is going downhill with a coach who supposedly has a wandering eye.

I'd take Stoops.

Auburn-Alabama is the only rivalry anyone cares about in the SEC.

And it's not really because of the play on the field. What's more interesting is how ridiculous and hickish the fanbases are.

It's amazing. A couple of Christian schools not only own the Big 12, they absolutely humiliate the league by running up the score on national television...and it's being replayed right now on the same channel just to make sure nobody missed the ass beating of the Big 12's flagship.

What? That its not a huge rivalry? I stopped caring about the importance of rivalry games when roughly Jayhawk fans showed up at Arrowhead the last time Mizzou and Kansas played.

On the flip side I will give A&M and their fans tons of credit.

I've never seen a fanbase be so enthralled and committed to a program that has achieved so little.

Nowhere else in America does this exist.
