Houston only played hard in spurts after he got paid

Berry is...complicated. He had cancer, came back, had an amazing season, got hurt, caught the Haglund's and after he got hurt, his spirit was never really into playing football.

I mentioned this much earlier in the thread. The 49ers tend to have problems with fast quarterbacks, but not necessarily quick QBs. They sacked Wilson 5 times the first seattle game. But, Wilson, Murray and Jackson all showed that if they are able to scramble out of the pocket, our linemen are too slow to catch them. They all just strung plays out until a WR or TE gets open.

They were. Berry turned into an expensive walking injury. Houston was similar, but he also lost a step and was simply overpaid by the time they got rid of him.

Yes. He's pretty injury prone and one dimensional. Saleh uses him to perfection as a situational pass rusher.

KC’s pass rush was pretty strong last season but they ran into a brick wall with the Patriots OL. Very little pressure on Brady. It’s surprising he threw 2 INT and a 3rd one that was bailed out by the Ford penalty.
