I’m about 4 episodes in after seeing your post, enjoying it so far, almost has a feeling of Justified so far which was a great series. But also has plenty of tits which is a nice bonus too lol

Started watching "The Nazis, Evil on Trial" on Netflix (2024 6 episode documentary series) it's really great. Centers on the Nuremberg trial but goes back to Hitler's early years and details how the nazi party came to power. Great History piece with historical film and audio, personal accounts and interviews and recreations.

100%

Gotta kinda fight through the first couple of episodes, but after that I was absolutely hooked. Very cool and interesting concept, too. Give it a shot.

If you liked wrestling at all growing up, Mr. McMahon on Netflix is a real treat. Six-part docuseries and very well done by the guy who did Tiger King.

Holy shit, just finished Band of Brothers from HBO. Episode 9 is the most moving and sad things I've ever watched in my life. Literally cried my eyes out. I can't believe how well done that whole thing is and the scene from episode 9 probably looks almost exactly like it would have in real life.

Just now getting around to it huh? Yeah, you didn't know what you were missing. Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan are probably some of the best WWII movies/shows out there.

Just found this.

One episode in and I'm...intrigued. Really interesting premise, well acted and well paced (so far).

No idea how long the idea can hold itself together, but I guess we'll see...

I'd never really heard of the show, but it's on Netflix. I was only 11 when it first aired so it was never on my radar. I'd seen it mentioned in several different "Best TV series" discussions, so decided to watch it. Really glad I did.

Couldn't get into it at all. Also, big surprise, Netflix ****ing cancelled it.

Anymore of you gotten into From yet? If not you are all missing out on a super solid show.

Would really like if someone could start a From thread in here.

It has a bit of quirky british humor feel to it early on.

We'll see if it can avoid getting its head up its own ass. I kinda suspect it won't, but early on there's plenty of promise.

Twisted indicated he was going to watch it and I actually came here to post to see how season 2 was? I REALLY enjoyed the first couple episodes of S1 and then it faded a bit. Still worth the time but was stronger in the beginning.

I'm interested to know what you think of S2.

I am about 4 episodes in to season 2. If they keep just creating more questions and not answering anything I am going to be out really quick at this point. You can't just keep making up weird shit without starting to give some explanations.

I love s2. I think it’s more on par with the beginning of the first season as there’s just a lot of cool stuff going on.
