Stolen from elsewhere.

Mahomes Against Top 10 Defenses in His Career: 9-3 record, 30 PPG, 66.3% Completion Rate, 287 Yards/Game, 25 total TDs, 7 INTs, and a 104.5 Passer Rating.

Limiting it to top 5 defenses, he's a perfect 5-0, averaging 27.8 PPG, with a 66.1% completion rate, 320 yards/game, 9 total TDs, 4 INTs, and a 95.3 passer rating.

242 yards 2 TDs and 1 INT. That’s Alex Smith carved them up.

LMAO

Looks like the 49ers fans are underestimating the Chiefs defense and Patrick Mahomes.

Good luck with that.

Some may be, but not me. Mahomes is the best player in football right now, and if he continues on this path, he's going to re-write the record books.

KC's defense has been stealthy good. I hadn't paid that much attention to Clark, but a local radio station re-capped his year. Looks like KC raped Seattle on that deal. KC's getting its money's worth in him.

Those are great numbers for Jimmy G though. He only threw one pick.

CLASSIC.

"We've got Dee Ford."

We know. We're glad you have him.

There it is.

Look....I know this holds no actual bearing and that it’s not like the 49ers don’t want to win or anything.

But you can see that this team won’t accept anything less than that trophy for Reid. EVERY ****ING PLAYER wants to win this for him. I think Reid may see this as a “I’m not holding anything back to go win this”.

You don’t hear anything on the 49ers side about how they need to go win this for Kyle because of what happened against the Pats. That’s all you hear from the Chiefs players.

Fair enough...in my view, it's Ford's mere presence that is the difference maker. Most teams have had to chip him at least to avoid having him pressure the QB, and when they do that, it leaves one of the other guys one on one. If you can consistently block Ford one on one, I agree it will tend to negate his impact.

I'm sure KC will chip him on passing downs occasionally, if he's lined up outside. But KC also is going to throw on a lot of traditional running downs.

They're not going to run just to run and establish it. Makes it harder for teams to use gadget players like Ford.

Sassy Squatch 01-23-2020 02:39 PM

Ford played over 50% of the snaps against the Packers and had 1 tackle. That seems familiar.

I'll bet Patrick will audible to a run when Dee Ford is in the game. They'll run right at him.
