Two of my favorite things Fishing and Chiefs football

Also the two things that make me cuss the most

You need to take up golf for the trifecta.

Just wrapped up a day of fishing in the Bayou. Great fishing! Both of my boys landed huge redfish and we all took our share of sheepshead, drum and catfish. Great eating! If y’all never have, you gotta fish the Bayou at least once. So cool. Saw gators, bald eagles and all sorts of other critters. Just a wonderful experience.

Took the plunge on a pretty high end JonBoat for pond fishing. Wife saw the typical Jons I was looking at and sold me on stability and safety with young folks in boat. Got a year old model so saved about $600. Found an awesome used Trailer that was used to haul a Champion 17 foot Bass Boat and scored it for $400 bucks. Now Im on to fabricating a lift mechanism of sorts so I can leave it by the dock but hold it up out of the water...will have a foot control bow mount MinnKota

May add a depth finder if I think it could help find brush piles and structure

Have to figure out seats and all that as well

Now I need warm weather

I thought about it before but how are the mosquitoes? I mean how big do they get?

I'm guessing you chartered a boat?

Now here’s a thread I haven’t seen in a while, I’m so ready for some decent weather and start getting some lines in the water

I can only imagine the joys of fishing the bayou, the sheer variety must be mind blowing

Good looking boat, F150 :thumb:

I upgraded my depth finders to the Garmin echomap 93sv on the front and the console and added the livescope system to the front. Fish won't stand a chance now.

Removed the Garmin 93 SV chirp and the panoptix live forward system which was good but I wanted the latest version so I have it for sale if anyone is interested. I paid $2000 or $2500 for it two years ago.

Whats something like that worth? I have what's called a "flasher" portable that I used many years ago, I think it's an antique. Maybe we could trade?

When I take a long nap I will get out to the MO river and fish a worm and pretend I am fishing

What the hell would you even do with a fish this big?

Anyone ever try pickling them?

Bump for my last post's question
