Imagine the sky is falling crowd if Mahomes had competed 45% of his passes for less than 100 yds, with the best receivers in the league, and gotten blown out by the Browns. LMAO

I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. My experience is that very few people here respected Brown’s ability. |

Watson > Burrow
I feel like I'm going back to three years ago. |
Yeah, not sure what he's talking about. There were quite a few that banged the table for continuity there were just as many sick of his shit and wanted him gone.
|
There's nothing I'd find funnier than OBJ flopping at the Bungholes...but that is a very good Browns DL. CP loved the OBJ trade (I didn't really see the fit) and then hated him (I sort of got it but thought it was OTT). He's probably going to be an upgrade for them, he's going to be pretty solid. If he's not then I will enjoy every minute of it.
|
Now we all point at the Bengals and laugh.

Bengals got asswhooped by the Cleveland Browns

Only saw a quarter or so of gameplay but Brown looked pretty bad from what I saw.

Loved seeing the Bengals getting blown out. Now I just need to see the Bills get their shit pushed in by the Jets and I can walk away from this weekend feeling positive. The Chiefs went up against a potential NFC monster and nearly got the W with key pieces missing. This is gonna be a fun ride, same as the last 5 years!

But Orlando will never be an elite guy, and the Bengals will have to scheme around his problems just like KC schemed around his problems. At least from Cincy's perspective, they didn't get stuck with a $25M per year salary on the guy. He had to eat some major humble pie in signing that $16M per year deal with Cincy. |
Quote:
They're a possible NFC playoff team. KC had no business losing to them. But yes, it was good to see the Bengals get blown out, and OBJ and Burrow struggle. Burrow looked very rusty. Looked like a guy that missed all of training camp and the preseason. And OBJ Bitch Tits Fox Tail looked like the slow moving turd he is. |
Quote:
I didn't like him when he came available, I was against pursuing him, I always thought he was a poor fit for a pass first offense, and I was glad when we moved on. Now I'm glad he's in Cinci, and going to get Burrow killed. |
Burrow, at $55 million a year, received $39,454.81 for every yard he threw for today...

KC had no option but to meet his demand... That's what I remember. |

Took a terrible performance by a lot of people to lose that game, and we still almost won. It was very uncharacteristic of the Chiefs though, that's what wasdisturbing about it. |

That OL is garbage and he holds the ball too long. This won’t work. Burrow might be the next Andrew Luck at this rate. |

OBJ is a shitty LT. They ****ed up and they will regret it.
|
So… even though burrow is smug I can’t hate on the dude too much.
Why does everyone love the rest of the team so much? Jamar running his mouth before and after the game… again. Mixons off the field shit gets ignored. OBJ running his mouth all offseason only to put that performance up. |
Yawn, $275 mill and all you can do is get a field goal? LMAO

Eventually you get to Burrow whom I dislike too. Mixon slightly below him. But otherwise, they’re unremarkable in terms of villains. But Chase, man, he’s the worst. |

Joe Burrow has resting douche face |
Today firmly entrenched the Chiefs as still the class of the AFC, just a drop away from everyone rolling their eyes at us again.

I wonder what the 4th string QB is getting the o-line for Christmas

I mean... yes, let's all laugh at the 'gals, they deserve it. But Burrow missed basically the whole camp, did he not. Plus he's got to be dodging the guys Orlando Brown is supposed to be blocking with a calf injury which can't be easy.

The narrative changes almost completely if 2 or 3 passes are caught. They do need to win. And if they win with a strong defensive showing against what is now almost certainly an elite Jaguars offense, consider them a lock to represent the AFC until someone proves otherwise. |

If you can’t pick one, I’ll accept 2 total yards as an answer. That performance was dynamic and deserves to be analyzed. |

They didn’t look lost but even if you want to say they look lost, then that’s actually a pretty dang good performance for an offense that was “lost” given even one more dropped pass caught likely leads to a win. Every other team would love to perform like that when they are looking lost. |
I'm so grateful Orlando Brown Jr was stupid as hell and turned down that IDIOTIC offer the Chiefs extended to him once upon a time.
|
Okay, "lost" may be a bit too far. But it's the first time in the Mahomes era that I remember not having a single reliable target to throw to. Not that a few didn't make some plays, but the most memorable thing from that game was the plethora of drops, which was magnified by the knowledge that it was an unproven group.

Reality is already setting in for Bengal fan:
I’m really worried about Orlando Brown Jr. He seemed slow and struggled a lot against speed rushers. Maybe I overrated him given that he had made some Pro Bowls, but I kinda see why a lot of Chiefs fans didn’t feel like his loss was a big deal. Hopefully he and the rest of the team can recover. |

Joe Shiesty on X is MIA. There were a number of positives to take away from the DET game for us, particularly on defense. In the end we dropped the ball, quite literally. CIN on the other hand was throughly beaten by a divisional opponent.
We have work to do in KC. In CIN... they have problems. |
