We went down 3 at the half and the Chargers got the ball back after half.

Now, we're still up by 1 and we get the ball back.

Break the officials union and make the ratings of officials public. Let the teams have a veto on certain officials. If those officials are vetoed enough they are encouraged to go ref somewhere else.

The problem with that kind of thinking, is that it makes it sound like we played a great half and got jobbed.

We didn't play a great half on defense at all. The run defense is being gashed and is missing tackles and taking poor angles. It's been a problem this season.

The offense played well in the first half. Have to give them their credit.

Bottom line, if our run defense wasn't playing like garbage, the refs wouldn't be able to influence this game, because we'd be way ahead. The refs are contributing to our defense's poor play, let's just call it that. They're pouring salt on the wound whenever we do make a rare good play or stop.

I've been watching football longer than that, and I can assure you that **** jobs worse than this have occurred, and no protest was made. It's been a shitty half of calls, but we are playing well enough to win and the calls will even out. Relax.
