It's also possible that Dorsey may NOT have a man-crush on Smith. Many exciting possibilities! |

My question is to the fan base & I think I know the answer but would a rookie quarterback get the same luxury as all these retread veterans with excuses? Drop balls, bad protection, play calling, poor defense yada yada yada?
How long does he get to prove himself? Is he awarded with a chance to learn from his mistakes or team growth? I just imagine those against drafting our QBotf will call for a veteran the first time he throws an interception. I hope I'm wrong and the prospect gets and takes advantage of all opportunities to be successful. |

(my gut told me we should have won this game by a score of 44-18 :D) |

We've cut every young QB we've acquired except Bray without much real developing. Instead of keeping a young guy longer, we go out and sign a veteran backup.(Chase,Foles) That's why i have reached the conclusion that Reid has no real desire to deal with a rookie QB and would rather deal with a less talented veteran. Dorsey will only draft a high round QB if Andy Reid wants one. |

Not happening, no point in drafting a 1st round QB if the HC doesn't REALLY, REALLY want him. We've seen that happen many times in the NFL and it almost always ends badly. All your coaches have to be 1000% on board. It's hard enough to succeed with a rookie QB as it is. |

We will draft a quarterback somewhere in this draft I just hope that it's in rounds one or two |

whatever they do with the qb situation, it will be mutually agreed upon. i think the only way they deviate from this plan is if clarke says 'you will draft this guy with this pick'. :D |

Andy Reid didn't get along with McNabb because he didn't like his constant freelancing. He didn't run the plays like Reid wanted. Alex Smith is a such a good soldier that he borderlines on being a droid. |
