I'm so glad you are back Fax. When I saw it was you who started the gdt I knew we would win and it would be pretty amazing. Mahomes is a once in every 20 years or talent at QB. I dig the Favre comparisons, but Mahomes has some really unique traits with the way he handles the ball before he throws it. His play action/deception on the wr shovel passes, (which may be a rpo that's called in the snap cadence or something like that.) his feel for the timing and control of the snap. He just owns that ball the second it hits his hands, he's going to put it on target or get rid of it before you know wtf happened.

Eh, not really. The Chargers dropped multiple passes that would have been HUGE gains, including at least one TD that I recall. And Rivers still threw for 424 yards. Would have been over 500 without those drops, and the Chargers would have likely at least tied the game, if not won it. The Chiefs also allowed 5.6 yards per rush.

Really, really, extraordinarily terrible.

Defense overall wasnt good but when you look into it a little more there certainly are improvements. I'm still holding out hope something gets done with Breeland and Berry comes back. Ford was great today we definitely missed him last year. Idk what's up with Houston.

This team will resemble the Don Coryell Chargers. All offense, and very little defense

Hill is a freak!!! When was the last time a WR was in the MVP race?

Why Not? 09-09-2018 09:41 PM

Yes he is. He's a created video game character. Um, Antonio Brown the last few years.

Did Breeland Speaks even play?

I saw him waddling off the field...and then on the next play he waddled too slowly and we got that penalty. ROFL

Dude is just a ****ing lump man.

Veach isn't the best GM.

He's Rich Gannon with a howitzer.

Just watched the first few series on defense and I think I'm safe in saying that Houston wasn't the same ol' Fiddy today.

He was doubled a couple of times early, then he was single-blocked pretty easily (although a couple of those plays were away from him). What bothers me is that he seemed to give up on plays early ... real early for him. Engaged the blocker, then just stood there while the play went around him. Very unusual behavior.

Was he pacing himself? Does he have the flu? Does Kelce?

There was something very strange about this game.

The All-22 still isn't up, but it will be worth examining, I'm sure.

Our pass rush was legit today.

Hopefully we can get that kind of pressure on The Berger.

I was at the game and noticed a complete lack of pressure even when he wasn’t doubled and wasn’t dropping back. He had nothing pressure-wise.

His ball control really surprised me. Other than that goal line run he played a really sharp clean game. I couldn’t believe it.

As much as the haters heads may explode, Alex probably deserves some credit there. If for no other reason than he showed it could be effective. Mahomes wasn’t doing that at Tech.

RINGLEADER 09-09-2018 10:10 PM

Also I think Kelce doesn’t get far enough down field for Mahones.

It was really amazing to see a guy go further downfield with his progressions. Only time it hurt us was when he didn’t just tuck and run and get an easy 3 at the end of the first half instead of trying to jam it into the end zone but what a great problem to now have.

NJChiefsFan 09-09-2018 10:12 PM

I'm not really one to cry about lopsided calls because I think overall the refs suck equally for most teams but man did they miss a number of holding calls against our pass rush today. Kpass a few times and obviously Jones.
