Said this the other day. He drew SF off 4 or 5 times in 2018.

Hern will be the next douchebag to be rompered i hope.

Someone suggested getting this on a T-shirt. I like the idea along with a picture of him during this interview.

His stats for two games looks like a bad day for Alex Smith, less than 20 passes for 150 yard, a pick and a sack.

He's garbage.

I like your confidence in your take. 49ers benefit from being underestimated.

Yeah I’m sure they’re reading our board.

Doubt they'll treat Kelsey or Damien special since Warner and Kwon are excellent in coverage.

PLEASE try to single up Kelce against either of those guys. The Titans have an elite coverage LB in Jayon Brown and still didn't trust him to handle Kelce 1x1.

Context...Ford did not play in that game. When Ford plays, the 49ers pressure rating is 32%. When he's not playing, it's 24%. When Ford plays, the 49ers' sack rate is 16%. When he's not playing, it drops to 5%. Ford's presence is a huge factor in the 49ers ability to pressure the QB, as each individual starter is capable of consistently beating one on one blocks. When Ford players, the offense just doesn't have enough blockers to prevent pressure without keeping both the TE and RB in to block. I have to imagine KC knows this and will either target Ford or try to keep the 49ers from rotating him in on passing downs. Same with Clark for KC...he's gotta have a big target on him.

This may be one of the big sticking points for the way 49ers fans see that DL and the way Chiefs fans see that DL.

We know that guy well. He is not well-regarded here, because he was a brokedick who was easily exploited by really good offenses and was a key part of the significant run D issues KC had the past few years.

Ford was a complete nonfactor against the Patriots and Tom Brady (seriously, he played 84 percent of the snaps and is gooseeggs across the board. No pressures. No sacks. No QB hits. No tackles. He did sure as **** get blocked out of a bunch of run plays by Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan, though). Literally the only time he showed up on the screen was when he was whistled for the offsides that negated Brady's INT, and when he was seen on the sideline dimly asking someone if he actually was.

He was low impact against Anthony Costanzo and the Colts last year, too; he had a strip sack late in the game, when the Colts trailed 24-0, and that was about it.

Chiefs fans don't view him as a "must" double-team. The Chiefs don't even routinely double Joey Bosa (or Mack, or Miller, or Chubb, etc.), though they do chip him with a RB/TE at times.

They may double Bosa or chip him and double Armstead/Buckner, then leave everyone else singled up, including Ford. But I don't expect KC to keep a LOT of extra blockers in on regular downs, unless they're trying to run a "shot" play.

SF is who we think they are.

Looks like the 49ers fans are underestimating the Chiefs defense and Patrick Mahomes.

Good luck with that.

Out of all the stupid hot takes that get brought to this board over and over and over again, this continues to be the dumbest.

The best defense Mahomes has ever played was the 2018 Jaguars, IMHO. They came in hot at 3-1 and thought they were going to control our offense. They had much more talent than this 9ers group top to bottom.

Andy and Pat proceeded to send that team spiraling down into what they have become now.

This isn’t the first good defense to think they were gonna be the ones... and it won’t be the last.

It wasn’t his best stat game, but the offense moved up and down the field with ease against that 2018 Jags defense. Mahomes was in control from start to finish.

This. IF Ford is healthy and not offsides, we'll run right at him.

Does Clay have the .gif of Ford literally running away from a ball carrier? I'll remember that shit forever.

Anybody else see TO and McNabb sniping each other yesterday? Makes you appreciate all the more this current group of guys we have that have bought in 100%
