You're starting to sound like your against the potential hiring of Pioli.

The players that he has brought in and his drafts have both been phenomenal.

His numerous executive of year awards are additionally evidence.

I don't HAVE to assume.

I've read 3 different books that detail that pick, and in each instance, Newsome was all alone in wanting Ogden over Phillips.

I'm not against hiring Pioli at all. I just hope he's more substance than hype.

This is WAY out there, but:

What if things have ramped up because of the Titans loss today?

Maybe Pioli has said he really wants Schwartz as HC, and now that he's free to interview, he wants to get this thing moving before other teams can interview/hire him?

It's a long shot, but not exactly unrealistic either.

This is a very good point.
