I do believe Bambi has kind sent you all on a snipe hunt. Ami wrong here Bambi or are you referring to the Big8/Big XIII record and not necessarily the NCAA record?

That's why the original post was about both Mizzou and Nebraska sending KU thank you notes.

KU has saved them from two records (Big 12 and NCAA).

Obviously it was much worse for Mizzou being that they had held the record since 1996. Nebraska only had to suffer a week.

I suppose I can consider a Missouri fan's opinion once they play in the SEC Champ game. Otherwise it really doesn't matter when a team gets the likes of Vandy, Tennessee and Kentucky week in and week out.

Cut Kansas fans a little slack. Both of their teams are nursing 30+ point losses. They waited all football season for basketball to start only to be humiliated by Kentucky. That left a mark.
