I was just reading they think Solo is going to bomb. That’s the one I was concerned about because of you don’t nail the character you’re ****ed. I’m guessing that’s why we haven’t seen a trailer yet. If it’s that bad don’t release it or scrap the shit, start over, and release it later.

I haven't heard that it's bad.

As a matter of fact, it's exceeded expectations since Ron Howard took over.

Should've just lifted the story of Jacen Solo for the trilogies. Have 7-9 be about the formation of the New Republic, Luke teaching the Skywalker and Solo kids, and finish the trilogy with the Yuuzhan Vong war. 10-12 is the formation of the Galactic Alliance and the rise of Darth Caedus.

I don’t know if this is reputable or not. I do have concerns that they fired the original director and brought Howard into save it. Also, it’s extremely hard to recreate an iconic character like that. I 100% hope they nail it.

It can be explained. Doesn’t make it any more enjoyable. The film was a mess and I (like millions of others) think it was boring and stupid. Doesn’t mean I can’t have “fun” at a Star Wars movie (I really enjoyed Rogue One), just that this movie didn’t work for me. If you can look past the flaws and you like it then you should go see it again. Doesn’t bother me if you enjoy it.
