I don't drink bourbon much except at Derby time. We can't get Blanton's up here anymore so I settled on Makers 46 yesterday. I thought it was ok after my second julep.

No special bourbon but after dinner I had dessert. A smoked Manhattan. It was yum.

Seems like that time of year when the dark stuff gets put away until fall.

I can't imagine a whiskey or bourbon at 100° right now.

I'm drinking pilsners or white wine or some vodka with lemonade.

Yikes, they either haven't updated their site in ages, or are sold out of damn near every good bottle.

The Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered/Remus package is the best thing available, IMO.
