Read the entire article...it appears that Pioli will at best be equal to Thum, and may even report to him.

They just must have updated that piece of info because it was just a blurb when I saw it.

I don't think Pioli would answer to anyone but Clark in the organization. Dneny and Scott would work together on the cap and contracts, but Scott would have final say over the players and coaching staff.

I have a real gut feeling this is going to happen on Monday.

That will be the final, and most concrete indication that Clark Hunt cares about winning as much as any owner in the league, and has handled this off-season like a true professional.
