It's a shame that most real Scotch drinkers would never have the disposable income to actually buy a bottle like that Macallan.
Then again, there's zero way that the liquid in that lalique decanter tastes like $140k either. |

I can't imagine even spending $1000 on a bottle of bourbon or whatever, much less 15 times that, or $140k... even if I had the money, I'd never want to drink it. Here's to hoping my 401k does brilliantly over the next 25 years. LMAO |
Utopias are great. More like madeira or port than beer.
I've got a hard limit on per bottle spending and it's around $100. But when I'm at a vendor event and someone's got some expense dollars to spend, bring out the vintage menu. |

I am not a Makers Mark guy at all. I guess I understand it's supposed to be really good, but I've tried it many times over the years, and it NEVER stands out to me to be anything more than meh.
Yesterday, I was at a pub for a cancer benefit, and I saw they had Makers Mark Cask strength. I've heard good things, but as I say, it's Makers, so I don't really care. So I had one. Neet with a little water. Holy shit. That was damn good. Shockingly good. Can't believe I'm drinking Makers good. So, there ya go. |
