Wondering what's everyone's favorite base and mid-level bourbon.

While I've tried most base ($20ish) and mid-level bourbons/whiskeys ($40ish), I've honed in on the few that are really satisfying on a regular basis. Smooth Ambler, Old Scout 99; Bowman Port Barrel; BT; Bulleit 10 year.

What is your go to in the base/mid level and why?

Scored on the allocation today. Got a 1.75 of Wellers SR and a 1.75 of Buffalo Trace

Expected it to be trash for $21 a LITER, but it's a damn good bourbon for the money - I try to keep at least a half case stocked.

I would say for the $20 range you really cant go wrong with Old Grandad
