I said very early on when these moves started that the Chiefs shouldn’t get caught trying to compete with what everybody else is doing.

We’ve been the team making those moves the last few years, while the rest of the competition has used the draft and high picks to stack up on young talent.

Now, it’s the Chiefs that have more early round picks with a chance to stack up on young talent the next couple of years.
