Literally the whole entire point over the committee instead of BCS rankings is to account for things math formulas can't account for.......like a critical injury.

If Bama and Georgia don't make the CFP and get thrown into the bowls. I think Mizzou might have to play Liberty in that situation.

In that scenario:
Orange - Louisville vs Alabama
Cotton - Ohio State vs Oregon
Peach - Georgia vs Penn State
Fiesta - Mizzou vs Liberty

Should be

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Alabama

Orange - FSU vs Oregon
Cotton - Penn St vs Georgia
Peach - Ole Miss vs Liberty
Fiesta - Missouri vs Ohio State

Oregon can't play in the Orange Bowl. It has to be the highest ranked team between the SEC and Big Ten.

If Florida St. isn't in the CFP, I think it's wrong. Yes, I recognize the injury at QB, but at the same time, you cannot disregard a team going undefeated in the ACC over the course of an entire season to make room for a team that admittedly struggled the first quarter of the season and has since played much better while losing to a Texas team at home that won the B12.

Georgia's also going to get ****ed (rightfully or wrongfully) for losing a conference championship game by a close margin, which is the same exact shit TCU did last year and got rewarded for losing when they did.

The loss didn't come in the final game of the year and they've had 2 games that they've won. The last one was against a 10 win top 15 team. They have a damn good D and a damn good running game.

I don't think Texas gets in. It'll be Alabama or Georgia that get in. Like what is Texas's case over Georgia? That they beat Alabama in week 2?

Yes, and they won their conference championship with 1 loss the entire season.

Georgia doesn't have any win that compares to Texas over Alabama.

I also cannot see how one can argue Alabama over Texas when Texas won at BDS, won their conference, and their only blemish was to a top 15 team on a neutral site.

Pretty accurate prognostication so far. Except Georgia in the Orange Bowl.

florida state is out (likely should be)

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Bama

not perfect but probably the best outcome

bama vs michigan to start things feels like a FU to harbaugh

I think Alabama is going to smoke Michigan. Alabama has the best team/QB combo left. Penix is better than Milrore (though less dynamic as a runner), but Milroe has made huge strides and is such a threat in the run game.

I don't think JJ McCarthy and the Michigan pass game are good enough to make consistent plays against Alabama's front.

I think we see a UT/Bama rematch, with Bama winning.

Mizzou vs Ohio State in Cotton Bowl. Best case scenario won out.
