Generally I don't love the idea of Kupp but because he is the type of WR I could see figuring the offense out really fast....

Yeah I'd look hard at it

So which is it???

It's risky.

If he stays healthy he's probably the best option out there of a guy that can actually come in and be a legit #1 type guy.

But I don't care for the ankle injuries....those aren't ideal.

BleedingRed 10-22-2024 01:09 PM

If we got Kupp that would be a coup..... Way better than anything I thought would be possible.

Yeah, same. The injury history is concerning but Kupp is one of the few WRs available that probably could pick up the offense very quickly. Couple that with his elite skills, he’s a very tempting target.

But we need a guy with a lot more durability right now.

Cornell Powell is back.

They must be pretty confident they have a trade if they're still not elevating any WRs.

O.city 10-22-2024 02:12 PM

Well, I doubt anyone they trade for is gonna step in and play this week anyway.

pugsnotdrugs19 10-22-2024 02:12 PM

I like adding Keith Taylor. Lengthy and flashed some athleticism. Washington cat who played with McDuffie.

Don't know why not, if they picked up the right WR. Andy targeted KT what, 4-5 times the first week after we got him. You could reasonably expect Kupp/DHop/Ridley (just throwing out some examples) to probably double/triple that.

If a trade is made today, I could see it happening.

Tomorrow would be tiiiiiiiight but possible.

If it's not done by COB tomorrow, he ain't playing. And even if it's today/tomorrow, we're talking about a limited package of plays.

It's really disappointing that we didn't get something done over the bye.

We joked about MVS and KT. But we shoulda realized Powell was always the play.

Yeah, with the timing of the bye and such and no movement I'm just not sure anything is gonna happen.

We can't speak it into existence.

He's still only signed to the PS, but he did look more versatile than the rest of that lot when he was here in the pre-season.

If one of them needs to be elevated this weekend, he'd probably be my choice.
