Nothing will compare to trading up getting Mahomes but I think you can make a strong case grabbing McDuffie/Karlatis at the end of the first might be the 2nd best first round draft for the Chiefs both guys played absolutely brilliant for us as rookies

In 6 of the last 7 regular season games George had atleast half a sack. Logged a sack and TFL in the AFC title game. Kid is ****ing good

More importantly, he's developing.

That would be Tribal Warfare.

I wanted him or Pickens over Moore, but Karlaftis felt like a no-brainer where we took him.

And yeah, that's no bueno for a guy with some character flags on his resume.

Jermaine Johnson was another popular draft forum guy.

Yeah, a couple folks wanted us to deal this year's 1st to move up into the top 8(ish) to secure Johnson.

I never saw that at all.

He's an all time "Draftnik Bullshit" guy, IMO. That's a guy the Bruglers/McShay/Kiper/Jeremiah crowd just kept pushing up their boards and when the draft was over you have NFL GM's saying "Man, I don't know what they were talking about. Nobody had him that high..."

And this year they took the mask off altogether with some guys drafting Hendon Hooker to Kansas City or some random 3rd rounder in the 1st because "I wanted to start a conversation about this guy..." (Translation: I got something from his agent).
