Housing is hanging to tobacco plants in a barn to dry. They cut them, and put 8 or 10 on a big wooden stake, and pass them up into the top of the barn, to be hung to dry. It's like a billion degrees up there. (or it seemed like it.)
I've heard stripping is even worse (not that kind), but I never did that.
BTW, if you've never seen a tobacco worm, you're missing out on one of God's nastiest creatures. I saw a dude bite the head off one once...
