Oh, I understand quite clearly.

You're either a complete troll who gets his jollies by riling up Missouri fans on an internet message board, or a complete idiot. Maybe a little of both.

MU has twice as many players in the NFL right now as KU (with 4-5 more guys about to enter the league in the upcoming draft). MU has had two drafts in the past 5 years in which it had as many first-round picks (2) as KU has in the past 25 years. It has 6 overall in the past 5 years (starting with recruiting cycles 3 and 4 for Pinkel at Mizzou) and 7 this century.

Only a troll or buffoon would call that a "slight" advantage to Missouri. But continue on.

No one cares.

Basketball season doesn't start until March.

That's normally about the time it ends in Columbia Mo.

Their careers. :p

@JonRothstein: Interesting nugget on the Big 12. Six of the conference's 10 coaches coached in the Final Four.

@JonRothstein: The Big 12 has clearly separated itself as the best conference in college basketball. League has eight legitimate teams. No nights off.

I'd be willing to bet that you've posted at least as much about MU/SEC in this thread as KU.

Interesting that ESPN chose to air this one. It would have been a great test balloon for FS1, to see if it could top Oregon-Oregon State as their most viewed game.

Obviously, but the point (again) is that nobody posts when it's basketball season.

Pretty well undercuts your argument that it's the Mizzou fans who are the angry/bitter/jealous ones.

As far as basketball vs football, though, you're trying to make a point that doesn't make sense.
A) No reasonable Mizzou fan would argue that we have the talent or success of KU. Good for you guys. Congrats, pilgrim shoes! You're really good at basketball!
B) no reasonable sports fan would argue that basketball foments anywhere near the passion of football. Basketball is nice. I love college basketball. It's great to have a sport on week nights. But people don't (in general) plan entire weekends around basketball games. People don't (in general) take their RVs across the country to go to basketball games. People don't pay nearly the amount of money to go to basketball games as football games.

So less interest in this thread during basketball season? Don't twist yourself all up trying to make it something it isn't.

People are supposed to be impressed with people who take RVs to football games? lol... get some perspective
