Okay gang, as many of you know I posted a message last week that stated that Clark had hired Scott Pioli and would announce it on Thursday or Friday. Clark wasn't very happy with me that I shared that information. I still have full confidence that Scott Pioli is the new GM. His announcement will come when Clark thinks it's appropriate. I have been summarily canned for letting the news out prematurely. I will say this though, Clark and Scott have worked out the finer points of his contract and the deal is sealed.

I only share this information because I've been fired from the organization effective immediately, but it's still fun to share that a new day is dawning at Arrowhead. Clark has moved quickly to clean out my office and I'm positive Scott will do the same with the rest of Carl's old staff before hiring a new coach.

Jim Schwartz is the name that has been mentioned many times by Clark and Scott. I know that they have discussed the possibility of bringing him in for an interview after Scott's hiring is announced.

Mike Shanahan continues to harass Pioli, but I don't know any info beyond that.

According to "League Sources," as the Chiefs continue to interview, they await Pioli's decision.
