Lmao, god dammit.
|
Now onto a screw job in Kentucky next week, can’t wait.
|
Gotta regroup still lots of big games to play.
|
Probably not happening anyway, but that's not a great way to end it.
|
LMAO
|
Well, despite the fourth quarter collapse not an entirely terrible day.
|
Consider how different things are if they would’ve punted on 4th and 32… different field position, thus different play calls..
|
Brian Kelly is one lucky man.

Perkins is a stud. He reminds me so much of Derrick Johnson

This doesn't kill our season. Should have won this one, but the coaching staff decided to stop trying to score and went conservative. Stupid mother ****ers.
|
Fire this stupid sumbitch...NOW
|
Hopefully this doesn't kill Cook's momentum. Could force him into a shell.

I mean, weren't we in field goal range prior to Tollison's bad snap penalty? Got to clean up the sloppy stuff like that.
Of course, maybe we shouldn't have been passing on that down anyway. |
Holy shit. I need Burden to get 11 yds and a TD.
|
That's not PI?

Up 22-7 and just give it away….but of course.
Blake Baker got absolute clown shows put on him today…. |
Brian Kelly probably just saved his job. Er, Mizzou's center may have just saved Kelly's job.

Well if Mizzou didn't recognize the importance of doing the little things right, they should now.
I don't believe LSU is definitively better but Mizzou just made too many mistakes. And took their foot off the gas WAY too soon. |
Wasn’t the spread 6? The pick six did the Mizzou to cover tickets in :doh!:

This one falls mostly on the inability of the defense to contain Jayden Daniels.....or to cover Nabers.
But you can't throw all the fault on the Defense...some of that falls in the lap of the offensive side of the ball too... Cook played a good game but both his picks hurt badly. And I still don't get the 4th and 32 call...he seemed to be locked in to Burden at times which bit him. |

Both Peat and Stephens should warm the bench for a few games. Both were horrible....especially Stephens
|
Drink’s decision making at the ends of halves and games is absolutely atrocious. I don’t understand how you become a D1 coach with that little of football IQ in some of these situations. At this point he has to just be ****ing with us right?
|
Hard to win in conference play with all the mistakes.
|
Tollison and Johnson finally ****ed the offense well and good when it mattered most.
Daniels was as unstoppable as anyone since Vince Young, and Baker had no answers. Mevis is still unreliable, and the difference in punts may have been worth two scores on its own. Drink turtle up after Cook's pick and they didn't attack the middle of the field for most of the second half. Lots of talent, but too mistake prone. It was obvious through the first five games, and the chickens finally came home to roost. |

Daniel’s was absolutely incredible for them and we definitely have to tip our hats. Hell of a performance to get them the comeback win. I understand why we would think we couldn’t get a stop with how they were running in the 2nd half, but when it’s the last drive and they’re trying to milk the clock you HAVE to punt the ball on 4th and a mile and stack the box and dare them to beat you with a pass for the first down. We were able to do the defensive part of it, but unfortunately the field position game was already lost by our own ****ing stupidity.
|
Tough to win when the opposing team has more than a 90% chance of picking up a 1st down on anything less than 3rd & 15.
That call on 2nd & 1 didn’t do Mizzou any favors either, should’ve just run it up the gut. Terrible performance by the defense sealed their fate though. |

Coaches lost that game. I didn’t expect a playoff spot but that one hurts.

Scoring 39 points and losing by double digits is a hard way to go. Missouri had two turnovers that lead to two TD's.
I never for a second didn't think Missouri wasn't sloppy. Makes sense that's what did it. I don't doubt the coaching blew it either. Sloppy penalties/turnovers reflects coaching. |

Terrible coaching, the real Brady Cook showing up, and the same old o line penalties lost that one. Too bad, it was a very winnable game. Oh, almost forgot the defense letting the qb run for first downs when everyone watching knew it was coming.

I wasn't a Brady Cook fan, but im well in his corner now. |

I don't know if he goes in the tank after a mistake, but that playcalling from his first pick to 10 minutes left was bitchmade. |
Turnovers and Defense lost this game… MU has never had a good defense..
|
It's so dispiriting to be up 15 and still be almost certain you're going to lose. I really do hate being born here.

4th and 32 in your own territory down by three and you go for it? Who decides to do that when they have all three timeouts left? That's just.......ooooff.

Still lots of good winnable games. It was a very disappointing loss and the sequence of events were bad. But it is not at all "crushing" and you throwing a temper tantrum thinking we should fire our coach is honestly really funny that an adult person would think that. I know it is the internet and people like to be dramatic for attention but yikes. |

It’s a little different in a run only situation to get the stops. Sure Daniel’s shred us apart with some long runs on 3rd and long, but the odds of getting 3 stops in that situation when you’re stacking the box and they’re trying to milk the clock are much better than 4th and a mile. At least draw up a play to get a jump ball past the sticks and hope for a defensive penalty or a miracle grab. Not a ****ing middle of the field desperation play.
|
At least Drink is smarter than Mario Cristobal. Holy ****ing Christ.

Not a stellar start for either the Offense or the defense.
|
This D looks like absolute ****ing garbage.
|
Number 8 is ****ing awful. 3 awful plays in 1 drive.
|
Ray Davis is good at football.
|
Fully expecting Luther to burn the secondary, though, since Geiger's out.
|
Quick question.....how could Mizzou not at least check into bringing Davis in from the portal?
Had he decided he only wanted to go to Kentucky or did Mizzou just miss on a pretty good opportunity? |
