Hopefully Jameson Williams is incoming but George Pickens wouldnt be terrible either...

Williams would be amazing. Pickens seems like a guy that should be a top 5 draft pick but is gonna drop because of injury history. I'd be okay with either, but not sure either of them will fall to 29, so hopefully Veach gets aggressive with these picks because we really need another dynamic wideout ASAP.

Really? Gonzalez always put up big numbers no matter who the receivers were. Kelce won't have a down year statistically if he can stay healthy.

I mean, the guy took an extremely team-friendly extension a few years ago when everyone knew he was one of the biggest weapons in the NFL. Honestly, he doesn't owe the organization anything. He's the most dynamic receiver in the league, and wants to be paid like it, so more power to him. I don't get this idea that fans have that players owe anything to them. This is their career, they don't have a lot of time in it, so they wanna maximize their dollars. Can't blame them for that.

Exactly. The team did a lot for Hill and he more than paid them back with elite play for peanuts and then a below value deal.

Veach put his limit, offered a reasonable deal and moved on once it was clear Hill was going for the stars. That's good business IMO.

Orlando Brown might be a similar story honestly except he is not the caliber of Hill but I'm thinking he will want mega dollars.

So we traded away Tyreek, and we're not going to get London or Williams.

Also Kelce is getting long in the tooth. Just epically dumb.

This isnt difficult to understand.

How are you today Marc?

Can we trade for Michael Thomas?

CupidStunt 03-23-2022 11:12 AM

"There has to be a little more to this than just financial reasons."

Huh? I'd say this if he signed for 23-25/year. He signed for THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR.

Wait, so the whole deal is guaranteed?

Sounds like $50M guaranteed now and $70M next year from what I saw, but now can't find the tweet.

I was more excited about the Bo Bergdahl trade.

Titty Meat 03-23-2022 11:13 AM

Nate Taylor makes a good point with the value of the picks we got it equates to the 10th pick of the draft
