In 2016 he lit them up for a quarter but began struggling as the game went along. Same containment strategy in both games.

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! :(

He's developed a lot since then though

And if the Chiefs lose? Still don't care. We have a franchise QB. 1 regular season game is meaningless now.

It's not like the Alex Smith days where 1 game could be an indication of things to come. Nah. Now 1 game means 1 game.

I'm not worried about one loss. But there is always the seeding in the playoffs. KC could be playing for home-field advantage, especially with the winner getting the tie-breaker.

I agree 100%... I can't wait for the Mahomes-Chiefs-Romo experience!!!

Oh no...the Romo curse.

You guys, knock it off! You are making me have a conniption here!!!!

I don't know if anything would make me happier right now than if the Chiefs discovered a way to blow these mother****ers out. Like, I'll be all smiles for at least a week.

I'd like to just go 12-4 and have HFA.

If they're 12-3 going into week 16 though and have everything wrapped up just forfeit.

Since you saw him play at Texas Tech, how was he in rainy conditions? There's supposed to be 100% chance of rain on Sunday so if it's a sloppy mess do you think Pat will handle it well or do recall if he ever played in those conditions?

3rd toughest game on our schedule.

I agree. He is much further along than I expected.

To be honest I don’t remember us having any big rain games from 2014-2016. There was a game at Iowa State with cold weather where the entire team struggled and got blown out. Pat was dealing with multiple nagging injuries in shoulder, wrist, knee, etc.

I think having Sammy in there makes a huge difference... yeah, you have to account for Hill and Kelce, but ****...you can't just neglect someone as talented as Sammy Watkins...a dude who was considered the "must have" WR prospect in his respective 2014 draft class...a class that consisted of:

#4 overall pick: Sammy Watkins
#7 Mike Evans
#12 ODB
#20 Brandon Cooks
#28 Kelvin Benjamin
#53 Davante Adams
#61 Allen Robinson
#91 John Brown
#90 Donte Moncrief
#118 Martavis Bryant

I mean, and there didn't really seem to be much debate as to which WR was going to be selected first. It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Sammy was the best WR and would be the first one off the board...despite some huge ODB fans pre-draft. This guy was assessed to be the best WR in that class and very well could have that reputation now if he had guys other than EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor and rookie Goff throwing to him...maybe we consistently see that from him this year.

The dude has to be freaking accounted for... he's not freaking Quincey Enunwa, Chris Hogan, Corey Campbell, Josh Doctson or someone completely underwhelming like those guys, for ****'s sake. He'd be a WR1 most everywhere else. With Ramsey likely battling Reek the majority of the game, having Sammy in there and torching inferior talent like AJ Bouye and Barry Church or whoever they put on him will be key. Could be a big game for him. And Patrick will find him.

Good God this offense was crafted perfectly when it comes to the skill positions.

(sidenote: the first two RB's selected in that 2014 draft were Bishop Sankey and Jeremy Hill )

You're killing it today.

Marcellus 10-04-2018 01:46 PM

Ramsey throwing shade at Tyreek calling him a return specialist not a WR.

LMAO

God I hope Tyreek burns his ass for at least 1 50+ yard TD.
