I was there 9 days and was only able to get out to the main lake 2 days due to wind. My little 18 ft Bass boat isn't made for 4 and 5 foot swells. we set 26 jug lines and caught 4 catfish but lost 4 lines because they were drug out to sea by some huge creature.

Had to do a lot of dock fishing and caught a lot of 3-8 pound cats but didn't capture any pic's. The dock there where all the guides come in and clean the fish produces a LOT of 30-60 pound Blue Cats but we didn't get one.

I did hook a gar about 6 feet long but lost him at the boat. He's lucky because I was gonna beat the hell out of him with my ball bat.

Yeah all the rain, wind and muddied water certainly isn’t helping anything up here

Sounds like the guides put out a daily blue cat buffet with all the scraps they chuck in the water... always wanted to catch a big ol gar, they’re supposedly excellent eating

Pretty sure I’d do just fine with Jordan Lees 334k

Not so much with Kelly Jordan’s 11k

Pretty wide ranging scale with all those guys, total rough glance looks like an average of something like 40?

I can’t help but wonder what the secret ingredient is that sets Lee so far apart from the rest...

That's just nuts. Are there any ramps open anywhere?

Shawnee bend high water was but last time I was there was Thursday and no rigs in the lot. That's by the beach. It's under. The water is to the parking lot.

I saw a couple jet skis off the mile long bridge today, which seemed crazy. They aren't running water so there's whole trees just floating around randomly.

It came up at least another foot today

I wish, farm ponds around here have stricter security than Ft Knox, you better be a son or direct cousin... they are jealously guarded secrets

And as luck would have it, most of the farmers I know dont have any decent ponds on any of their various properties... at least none that they'll tell me about

One guy will let me in on a decent pond, but its almost a mile walk back to it... no thanks
