Where are all the folks that were suggesting he was a "bust"? It might not have been this thread, but there were quite a few ready to write him off early in the season. "He's another gadget guy" or "he's not a complete receiver" or "he's too small/frail to be an effective NFL wideout."

Folks have been pretty quiet.

If he learned to break shoestring tackles he'd be next level. I don't think I've seen a receiver go down so easily by ankle tackles like he does. It's like he's too fast to keep his balance. .

I was thinking about that myself. It probably won't happen. But man, that would be an amazing offense with those 4 together on field at the same time all season.

Yeah it sucks, but if he'd be big enough to break a bunch of tackles, then he'd have been one of the first WR off the board. If his biggest weakness is that he gets tackled quick in good with it because he can blow by guys.

just a few inches here and there, and he'd be at 1000 and like 10TDs.

I was wondering the same thing.

They need to be shamed.

So that deep out we hit to Hollywood today — the formation was a bunch trio of Worthy, Hopkins, Brown — and Kelce on the same side of the field with Gray isolated on the other side.

Yeah, that’ll play. We can work with that.

Yeah, that’ll play. We can work with that.

It is soon going to be far more profitable for defenses to leave Kelce open underneath.

Hello easy 7-yard gains.

Kinda wonder too if he’s gonna start really going for the YAC come playoffs. Right now seems like he’s content to just fall down after a catch pretty effortlessly.

That’s exactly what happened today. It only took a few plays on the first drive for the Texans to abandon man coverage and switch to zone. They just don’t have the horses to keep up with Hollywood and Worthy so you have no choice but to play zone.

That’s why Hopkins and Kelce were killing them in the middle of the field and Watson got wide open against their 3rd corner.

I'm OK with him not fighting for extra yardage. It has led to some costly fumbles the last few years.

A healthy Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy are gonna F shit up. Get them a 3rd running mate and this dynasty not slowing down anytime soon. Really feels like Pat may very well have his WR1 and WR2 for the next 6-7 years.

I think it was lack of involvement in the offense and the comparison to Coleman that got people all in a tizzy.

But yeah, very premature. Mostly just something to be upset about since ChiefsPlanet needs SOMETHING to be upset about.
