why do the beakers keep getting put on ESPN-U?

they are playing another game on a non standard channel. I see Ole Miss vs Tenn on TV but I would expect the local channels to carry the beakers

ESPN makes crazy decisions. I questioned why they put KU Football in such prime tv slots this fall.

I think it's an attempt to grow the network. I'll guarantee these last couple KU games that have been on ESPN are the highest rated games they've had all year.

This might be the most entertaining basketball season. Nebraska has beaten tOSU, Minnesota, and Lost by 1 to Michigan. This is a tournament team next year.

Northwestern also beat Wisconsin in Madison. There are only three teams in the Big Ten with winning conference records: Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa. No Big Ten team has an overall record below .500 (yet).

Interesting how totally dead this thread became once basketball season started. Think about what that says, about both fanbases. Think about it.

That reminds me. Did you enjoy your beating by the Big 12-2 overlords?

College basketball is college basketball.

I like the Thunder and the Wolves (and Mizzou), but I still won't watch an entire game. When the playoffs/tournament get here, I'll probably pay more attention.

I also can't imagine why Mizzou fans would talk junk. I don't know a ton about the team, but I do know that our front court isn't very good, while I'm guessing ku's is great. I also have no idea what our record is, but I'm guessing ku's is much, much better.

Me talking junk on ku basketball would be like ku fan talking junk on Mizzou football.

Not quite. But back to the question, why are MU fans obsessed with Charlie Weis and KU football? Judging from the lack of posts here during basketball season the obsession isn't a two-way street. That says it all.

It says that basketball just don't have the pull that football does. You guys lost to Texas, and no1curr, even your rivals.
