We’re lucky we have ownership that isn’t pulling an Art Modell. Knock on wood, the team will stay local even with a new location.

Yep, MO only rescues STL teams, so it's Kansas vs. JACO... It's all good, we get it. Perhaps one day MO will decide to quit ****ing around with its neighbor to the west and decide to invoke its economic will. Nah, who am I kidding, Jeff City only cares about STL.

I went to the Cards/Chiefs season opener and enjoyed their stadium, but it was also first row of the upper deck, so hard to beat in terms of seeing the entire field and what not.

I don't think they make stadiums that are as steep and on top of the action like Arrowhead any longer, but that's dome or not and just sucks in general.

I hate being deprived of seeing fans and football players playing in freezing ass temperatures and pouring rain while I watch them on my 75" from the comfort of my living room, bourbon in hand.

No seriously, there is probably a slight advantage to being an outdoor team because dome playing outside on the road probably suffer slightly.

But if I wad building such an expensive stadium, I would want to be able to use it more of the year. And if/when KC no longer has such a great team and you are still trying to sell seats in Dec,... Yea, a dome is going to be an easier sell with the older richer crowd most likely.

I’ve been to the Jones Dome (which is probably the worst dome in the country so I don’t really even take much from that experience) and Jerry World for the Cotton Bowl last year.

This is probably just me, but I find the lighting very weird and it gives me kind of an uncanny valley experience. It feels very strange to watch football indoors under a bunch of artificial light and it messes with my eyes. Sound also bounces around and echoes all over the place in a strange way. Lots of natural light is essential to make it feel right to me.

I just prefer outdoor football, whether it be played on a sunny day or under a night sky.

I realize people have other opinions and that’s fine.

I appreciated the natural light of the Cards' stadium, with the translucent fabric roof... never visited the Jones dome, but it always seemed dreary as shit on TV.

My preference would be outdoor, or else keep the fans covered/field under the sky or retractable at worse... outside of events in the middle of the day in July/August, there are just so few days where outdoor events don't work in KC (besides of course wanting a SB), and that's saying something for how subpar the weather is overall.
