So I admit to getting sucked into the hype the past few games. In other words, this is the first women’s basketball I’ve watched in forever. But Jesus…are all the games this sloppy? I saw more terrible shots and 3’s that weren’t even close than on an elementary playground. Not to mention terrible passing and just bonehead decisions towards the end of the game. Still exciting to watch! But the talent seemed underwhelming in regards to the hype.

Eh, its not my favorite call given the importance of the moment. Most of the time that isn't getting called, so why call it as a game-ending whistle. Want to see players win or lose games, not refs. Like both of these teams so don't mind seeing Clark one last time

Quality of these games is very poor, yes. Clark is miles better than just about all of them.

I never watch women's CBB and Iowa/LSU was far better... neither game tonight was nearly as good, IMO, even if this one had good drama at the end.

Clark was on her game against LSU, completely took over in the 2nd half... not just hitting 3s, but several great assists.

The distant shot in the highlights shows the screener was definitely moving. It also shows they would have had to loft a prayer to get a shot of to win anyway.

So JuJu wasn't held in the SB. You watch the wide shot of that screen and she was moving.

You might be able to argue that was a foul by the letter of the law but that call is never made at that point in the game. Soft stuff.

I think you have two teams with elite guards but not much firepower in the offensive supporting cast, and both were guarded by terrific defenders. So the game relied on the supporting casts and let’s be real, clark and Paige are the types of players who make games more exciting.

I tried to tell everyone that Geno would limit Clark and that's what he did. The game before he faced Juju Watkins and blitzed her with doubles and triples so he was always gonna do the same to Clark. But they were stifled because they lack depth due to a crazy injury list and their key players got into foul trouble. South Carolina have size, scoring from various players and depth to throw at Clark defensively. It's gonna be interesting to see how they defend her this time.

Refs make BS calls at the end of important games all the time, and are absurdly inconsistent when they call them. What world are you living in? This shouldn't be surprising.

If you’ve seen that screen call made with 3 seconds left in a game of similar importance at the college or professional level, please point it out to me. Never seen anything like it.

The mistake Dawn Staley made last year was she didn't care about Clark because her team was just outscoring everyone. So they didn't pay any extra attention to Clark, she went off and her team missed wide open looks all night. An issue they had all year (three point shooting) caught up with them. But this year they are one of the best three point shooting teams in the country.

They'll have a huge advantage on the boards, they have a much better bench, they have four elite guards who can all take turns attacking Clark and potentially get her into foul trouble like LSU did in the last final.

The only thing I don't like about SC is they can get bored and sloppy which leads to them playing down to their opponents level. But when they start rolling they can end the game in ten minutes which they did to NC State tonight.

The key to SC winning is clear. Blitz Clark all night and attack her on defense. And punish them on the boards like LSU did with your height advantages. It's that simple to me.
