Deathmatch in the Thunderdome with Chamarri Conner for #27. Who says no?

In all seriousness, I’m going to say he gets weird with it and picks a single-digit number.

Kareem scored 9 TD last year despite averaging just 3 yards per carry. He still has a nose for the end zone in short yardage. Look at this on Sunday at the 2 yard line:

1st & Goal at CIN 2
(4:14 - 1st) (Shotgun) I.Pacheco left guard to CIN 2 for no gain (S.Rankins; L.Wilson).

2nd & Goal at CIN 2
(3:40 - 1st) (Shotgun) I.Pacheco up the middle to CIN 2 for no gain (S.Hubbard, J.Tufele).

I really liked Damien.

Darrell was a big sack o' ass (he has a couple huge fanbois round here but he sucked hard), but Damien was a really nice little player for us.

I'll remember him long after I've forgotten about MEH - we've established that much at least...

I still don't think we've seen the last of Tyreek.

The extension pushes the timeline back a little, but I think he's a guy we see come back for one last ride.

Looks like he's a UFA in 2027. He'd be 33 with career earnings of around $180 million.

So he'll need a job to stay out of bankruptcy and pay for those kids. We can probably come up with $8-10 million for him by then.

And Travis Kelce will be gone. Tyreek wanted the ball on every play, but Travis is Patrick’s favorite guy.

If we're signing Hunt, we have no expectations of seeing MEH back. Ever.

Because the kid will never have a cleaner path to salvaging an NFL career than he's going to have when he's eligible to return from the NFI list. And we've heard ZIP in that regard.

I think he's shut it down. He's done. He knows it, so does the team.

Well, I thought it would happen, but I thought it would happen a bit differently. I thought after he got suspended that the Chiefs would bring him back. What screwed that all up is when Cleveland signed him. Once that happened, I changed my mind and figured he'd never be back in KC.

Im glad he's back, because I never wanted him gone in the first place. I just wanted him to acknowledge his mistakes, make amends, pay the penalty, get the help he needed, and resume his career in KC.

Hunt is the best part of the 2024 season (to me)...2018 was a great combination of a really physical RB with good vision and Mahomes lighting everyone up.

He's a much better running back than Pacheco...bringing him back was quite the score as with Ju-Ju also.

Chiefs beat the shit out of Saints...and was the first full week of Hunt being back. I think there is correlation there...if they want to keep playing those two deep safeties...lean on your top OL and let Hunt pound them all game.

I remember in 2018...at the end of games, teams didn't want any part of Hunt. He was trucking fools...

That's why Veach originally drafted him. His ability to break tackles at Toledo. He was one of the best - if not the best - in the country at it when we drafted him. The trait Veach likes most in RBs. Yards after first contact.

CEH is the 4th guy. Perine is a solid vet no 2 and Crocodile Blondie can work on being a respectable FB and his 3 or 4 touches a game.

The Pacheco/Hunt backfield will rape faces come playoff time and Perine as a 3rd HB who's excellent at pass blocking is amazingly deep.

The 3 SB trophies soften the blow for me quite a bit, but yeah...will always wonder what kind of numbers our offense could've put up with Kareem carrying the rock through his prime.

But he certainly has been a nice addition so far, glad Clark forgave him.

Well from the outside looking in based on his stats sure looked like it until we learned he was playing injured last year. Then I changed my tune before the first game he had in Chiefs uni again.

Easy 6 10-12-2024 04:51 PM

What little long speed he ever had is mostly gone, but he can still be very productive

Dude averaged 4.9 ypc coming off the couch with just one week to knock the rust off and get acclimated to the new team... just wait until week 9-10 when he has a better feel for this offense and its linemen

His longest run against LA was 10, look for those longest gains per game to start becoming 15-20 yarders on the reg very soon... its quite possible his addition saves the season if he keeps trending upward, he can help hold down the fort while we get the receiver room settled and get Pacheco back soon

we don’t need take it to the house speed. We will take last Games production all year long.

Agreed, consistent 10-20 yard gains always move the chains

He maybe can't house it from 60 yards anymore, but he still has vision , burst and jukes... this team still brings out the firecracker in him

BWillie 10-12-2024 08:12 PM

Hunt has the vision, Pacheco has the speed.

jerryaldini 10-20-2024 07:48 PM

Chiefs came into today 29th in red zone percentage, the big weakness of the offense in addition to the turnovers. 4-5 today was HUGE. Kareem 2 touchdowns and unstoppable in short yardage all day. Chiefs were 8-14 on third down. SF was 2-11.

Like Brady said, Hunt just consistently gets solid positive yardage to make first downs manageable. The RB room has become a big strength of the team, just when we needed it.

Bump 10-20-2024 08:01 PM

So everyone seems to expect Pacheco to be back this year, that's gonna end up being a nice duo

Has anyone noticed how basic bitch Kareem's contributions in the passing game are?

Screens and flats.

Andy is hiding the good stuff. Wait til Kareem starts running some angle routes, seams and circles.

Hope we stick with Kareem on the goal line when it happens.
