Foles started out aggressive than went full ASS11. I hate to say it but I think Rerun was right and Reid totally neuters the QB regardless of who is behind center. Still like to see 1 more game where you dont finish with Hill/West/Harris/Wilson as your supporting cast.

He throws a better deep ball than Alex, but that's about it. Smith is better at everything else
|
Man, I feel like if I bicker about this all week, I'll be using Nixcuses that are similar to Alexcuses.
|
Agreed. Ive moved into the Foles and ASS11 arent great but Fat Andy is Marty 2.0 when it comes to being conservative.

no, Foles does not get a second shot "just cause" JFC.
|
There's a reason why Nick Foles is a backup and not a starter.
Stop blaming Reid. |
Alex Smith is the Chiefs' quarterback. Anybody thinking otherwise needs to watch this game again in full.
|
Everyone that was up Nick Foles' ass last week can suck it. I'm no Smith fan, but Foles should not be starting unless Smith gets hurt.
|
Looked almost exactly like an Alex Smith performance to me. And the stats probably back that up. And he just wins, amirite?

When Andy is aggressive with his playcalling Alex is aggressive and we're a good offense. When he lets alex throw to/past the sticks and into the endzone Alex produces. |
Difficult game to judge a QB on. No run game, offensive line allowing pressures. Starters missing left and right.

Foles def did not impress today and for that I am saddened. However, I've seen Alex Smith play 234872083 quarters of football, and I can say that he most likely wouldn't have done any better. We've seen Alex play this exact "meh" kind of game many MANY times.
1.5 games is a small sample size... but you only get limited chances in the NFL, and Foles didn't take advantage. |
Damn disappointed but not surprised he put up Smith numbers today. Nice game plan Andy.
|
aawwww.
the bitter tears of fans who think their opinion is still smarter/bigger than the Chiefs. Keep those excuses flying, you know, the same ones you won't benefit Smith. LMAO |

Foles is capable of stretching the field better than Smith. If they are almost the same player then I choose Foles. He actually threw a td today that was a big factor is us winning. Smith would not have even attempted that throw.
|
I'll give Foles a pass he came up shy of smiths average 204 yards per game and .87 touchdowns without ware or Maclin. Looked similarly competent to smith against the garbage saints. Meh.

What Foles doesn't get a pass for playing without his 11 million dollar #1 WR and his 10 million dollar TE that got himself ejected? Also, missing the #1 RB.
Foles was throwing to literally bums out there today. Alex Smith would have absolutely gotten a free pass in this scenario. The ole "Alex needs more weapons" argument. |

It works both ways dude. And Foles wasn't playing well before Kelce was ejected and wasn't looking at him. And he was missing passes to wide open receivers witch has 0 to do with who it was. Like I said it works both ways. |

But it wasn't him so = excuses. |
Brad Johnson and dilfer just won too reeruned argument on smith

That's been the scapegoat here for 3 years. Alex would have beat New England in the playoffs if he had a healthy Houston, and Charles, and Ware, and Maclin. That same excuse is going to happen again in the playoffs this year, we will get in, some good player on this team will be hurt by then and when Alex gets beat by the Patriots again, it will be because he's missing _____ player. |

Foles did what Alex usually does. He gave the defense good field position, especially that first quarter, took care of the ball and scored points off turnovers.

Foles was Alex Smith today. Carbon copy. |

Foles was inaccurate, threw a couple deep.passes aND missed open wrs in the short and mid game
He's a good backup, but that's about it right now |

By the way, Kelce was out for the last minute drive only, so we can cross that reason off the list. |

Fantastic Foles did what had to be done today. Wasn't pretty by any means, but we won. Just what the team needs. Go CHIEFS!!!

I agree with Dane, I've seen this shit for far too long. Just enjoy the wins and forget about KC ever drafting a premium prospect; that shit ain't happening.
|
Yeah I think we've seen all we need to see if Nick Folds.
Speaking of which seriously when was the last time clay was right about any ****ing thing? |

Totally different when a team game plans for him even one as shitty as Jacksonville. Probably one of the top backups in the league though. |

But Ried has the team, QB to get bit down this year. It's our year. We will be there in the end... Get o. The train baby. We're going to the bowl. |

Why do you guys ban him? it is ****ing glorious to watch. I lost 6 months out of the year that I own his Av and sig because he was either banned or whatever. You guys are interfering with one of the greatest runs of ineptitude I have ever seen. His constant predictions of chiefs failure almost guarantee their success.... |

And, damn it, the scariest part is the biggest obstacle standing between us and a Lombardi Trophy is "Because Chiefs"... |

I don't know how long that's going to last but I have a gut feeling that a first round pick is going to be spent on a quarterback either this offseason or the next I can just feel it. |
