Big, Juicy, Rape. SNR, you be handy thereabouts? |
I'm glad this idiot wasn't drafted by us. The Broncos drafted Tyler Bray in the first round

Not worried. Lynch will either pan out or he won't. That's the chance you take when drafting a QB in the first round. I love his upside. He'll be fine.

I love that Tombstone is getting exposed in this thread
Laughs at Chris Jones and tells us that Lynch will be a SB QB before 25 He's currently 23 and can't even win the starting job LMAO |

Isn't he in Chicago now? |

I guess we should all praise the great Elway for that hidden gem though. |
And, I think there are people around here that believe Denver gave up a ton to move up for Lynch...
They sent a 3rd rounder (94th) to move from 31 to 26. Not exactly mortgaging the future there. They dropped 1 pick in R3 to move up 5 spots. |

Any GM that swings and misses on their QBOTF selection gets criticized. Elway's done it twice and you all still won't own it. It's sad.
|
Quote:
They are saying it is no big deal to waste a 1st and 3rd on QB that is only a backup. Now the Chiefs fans are like this :shake:ROFL |
Quote:
They moved up 5 spots and you expect people to act like he trade multiple firsts that would really have set them back. But, they didn't and it hasn't. If Trevor hadn't wound up being a decent option, sure there would be a lot more fury. Maybe they got lucky with him being better than advertised prior to the draft. Hell, Brock was a late 2nd rounder in 2012. They would have loved for him to have been the guy, but he chose to head off to Houston. Maybe that saved Elway from really looking bad. So, in 5 drafts... they used a 1st, 2nd and 3rd on the QBotF and so far it's a 7th rounder holding down the position. You're right, there should be so much more outrage coming off a 9 win season. Meanwhile, KC spent a 1st and a 3rd to move up 17 spots for PH... they'll wait a year and hope that in 2019, they don't look silly having spent so much to move up. I think it was a solid move to make, quite honestly. |

By the way. I agree with you that giving up a 3rd to move up for Pixton was no big deal. Elfraud would've just picked another bust in the 3rd too. |

CP is so busy laughing at Paxton Lynch being named a backup that they're totally overlooking how great Siemian has looked this preseason.
There are plenty of QB's in the NFL that couldn't beat out Siemian. |
LMAO LMAO LMAO
"Beat out Semen" |
Plenty of QBs couldn't beat out Semen, I heard. Maybe they should start lubing up. Or maybe they're just too old

KnowMo, I'm here to help. What you need over at the ol' Incestco is some quality stability with a proven, winning record. Yep, ol' Uncle Sweets has your best interests at heart, and he has a once-in-a-lifetime BARGAIN for you this offseason! I have an absolute STEAL of a QB just waiting for you. A REAL WINNER! In fact, all this QB DOES is win! And KnowMo, after this years' pitiful 6 to 8 win season in Donkeyland, your hero John Elway is going to need ALL THE WINNING HE CAN GET. I encourage you to spend this season getting to know the many folks who were involved in the 'Save Our Chiefs'-movement. Introduce yourself and seek advice, get contacts, and take notes! I want you to get those Donkey banners flying high, and let Mr. Elway and that other guy who can't remember his own name anymore know that come 2018.... IT'S SHITTY SMITTY TIME FOR DONKEY BOYS AND GIRLS! KnowMo, I promise you: All you will do... ...is win. :) |
I don't know about NFL QBs, but I hear Clay can easily beat out Semen.

Sure, they wanted their #1 pick to win the gig... it just didn't happen. Trevor played better, it's not like they both sucked and they flipped a coin. Lynch never had the job, never won it. Trevor won it last year and retained it. Now, we'll see if he's going to prove his doubters wrong. |
The thing about Semen's stats is I watched the other team drop easy INT's repeatedly during the first half of the year or so. It was an anomaly. He could've easily finished with 18 TD's 15 INT's. He wasn't much different from Brock in his first year starting IMO.
Also, who gives a **** what he's done in the preseason? The entire local media was saying that both QB's were stinking it up in camp. He didn't take the job, he just sucked less. I'm just not buying this former 7th rounder that wasn't even really good in college ever being anything more than he is, a fringe starter, and most likely a career backup long term. There's a reason everybody including you guys wanted Lynch to win the job. Stop pretending that this is a good thing and you really believe Semen could be the long term solution. |
Yeah, there were a ton of dropped picks when Denver was pulling games out.
|
TONS of Denver reporters and scouts were saying Semen looked awful. The moment Lynch gets benched you morons invent this narrative that he's played well.

Mile High, I have a question. Is the new head coach going to change the entire offensive philosophy from Kubiak/Shannahans style of counters and bootlegs? Paxton is kind of built for that, and if the new guy wants to play a different style that might be a reason he is struggling.

So, did he win it... did Lynch lose it? I think it's both. Lynch failed to win the job and Trevor did nothing to lose it, he played well. Did he light the world on fire? No... it's preseason. McCoy is a good OC, we'll see how the changes in his offense are accepted and what the results are soon enough. |
Love how KC baited them into trading up for this turd. So bad they have to force themselves into thinking a shit QB like Semen won the job.

Baited to move up a full 5 spots, losing a R3 pick. It has crushed this franchise for at least a decade. Hell, if anything it helped Denver - Elway would have bombed that R3 pick and there would be 2 spare players on the roster. Amirite? :D |
Imagine how bad you will be in five years? Bolles looks absolutely AWFUL. FOUR holds in a half ROFL

Dorsey could identify offensive talent but he screwed this cap up.
Denver in 2018 will have 316k in dead money and they’ll have 23m in cap space. If they cut demaryius thomas they save another 7m. They are definitely going to go after a big time QB. Get used to Kirk Cousins. Chiefs have 12 and a half million in dead money and currently projected next season to have negative 1m in cap space and people still go "Why did the Chiefs fire John Dorsey???" |

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Can you imagine head coaches seeing that shit? "Hey, let's draft this dipshit frat-tard"! "Yeah, that'd be GREAT"! And of course Elway takes him. LMAO |

Elway moved up in the draft to pick before we do because he heard we were interested in taking him. So Elway wasted a first and a third to get this doofus. |

Thank you dearly, John Elway. And that was my first time seeing that video. Wow. Horrifying. So much worse than the Derek Carr jean jacket video which is pretty bad itself. |

Peter King was inside the Cowboys war room and said we called seeing if they wanted to trade up (for Lynch if he made it to our pick). Reid would’ve never signed off on an idiot like Lynch. |
