He looked like THE GUY.

He was on pace for 1,632 yards and 12 TDs.

And based on his injury he may never be the same. Because of how slow KC played this people thought it wasn't that bad. Then the surgery happened and he tore shit up.

The ACL is fairly standard now to repair and rehab but Rice had some serious damage done.

He will be absolutely fine.

I’ve always felt like Lockett would be a great fit for us, he’s what we hoped Sky Moore would become IMO

My strongest preference, if possible, would be to run it back with Hollywood and Hopkins.

But if we somehow make cap space for someone like DK Metcalf, well, that’d be exciting but I just don’t see it happening.

Doubt Nuk wants to play for what Veachy would pay.

Seriously? Hopkins is too old. He looked washed last year. The Super Bowl drop and lack of snaps is evidence of that. They should move on from him.

Hollywood, I agree on trying to keep if the price is good.

Lockett is also old but he put up decent enough stats last year where a cheap one year deal could make sense. And he fits this offense better than Hopkins.

It has been harder than expected to "take a break."

They were able to trade him… for minimal compensation in return.

Raekwon Davis was released. Only 27 and could be a nice run stopper next to Chris jones

Re-sign one of either Kareem and Samaje to a short 1 or 2 year deal if they’ll take it for cheap.

Draft a RB this year, preferably somewhere in rounds 3-5.

A lot of people are going to be disappointed if they don’t like Pop. I just don’t think we’re in a position to upgrade that position with this FA market and needing to allocate higher draft capital to areas on the OL and DL.

Pacheco never looked as explosive when he came back and the other issue is KC had adjusted the run blocking for Kareem Hunt. They never switched back. So Pacheco was never going to look himself.

Pacheco needs a zone blocking setup where he just hits the hole hard.

I believe Reid primarily relies on power blocking schemes, no?

I remember we ran a fair amount of zone blocking schemes back in the early 2010s with Jamaal and I was a bit worried switching to PBS would affect his production once Reid came to town (it didn’t).

He had surgery on his LCL. I haven't seen any report stating he tore his ACL.

Maybe I missed it, but this post seems awfully doom and gloom for a pretty minor injury as far as knee injuries go.

htismaqe 03-07-2025 07:59 AM

Rashee Rice did not tear his ACL. He tore the LCL and all reports are that it's a tough surgery but not a catastrophic injury. His chances of coming back 100% are good and much, much better than if he had torn his ACL.

He didn't have an ACL. He had an LCL and the prognosis is excellent for 100% recovery.
