It was -14 when I got to work this morning. If I could punt a (name cute animal of choice here) and guarantee we could have a day like that the rest of the month (season), I'd throw my hip out doing it.

But snow in the south is not unusual no matter what nuts today say. We have had times of snow in all lower 48 and all 50 states.

Days like today happen. People forget that and in today's world, people are stupid.

I think most here know this too.

Actually, this is the first time in history that Florida has been under a Blizzard warning. Florida has only seen measurable snowfall a half dozen times in the last 50 years. Many places in Florida have already surpassed their record snowfall amounts. Meaning days like today have actually not happened in the history of Florida.

Yesterday afternoon, even though it was 20 and not the -12 we had in the morning, felt Hella cold

It feels so great! I am getting sick of wearing all these layers.
The past week has been keeping me busy filling the woodbox.

Snows not quite over in Tulsa, but close enough. High wind, ice, snow, and the next few days extreme cold (for here) of -3 actual temp for Thursday morning. Brrrr!! Wind chill of -15 approximate. February :doh!:

I would guess it used to be like that in Tulsa many years ago. It was the norm.
Now it is rare.
