Like father like son. |
The Grizzlies are starting to look really good. Will be interesting to see if they try to trade some of their depth for a key rotation C or if they’ll rely on Jackson and Edey when they return. Glad to see them healthy and back towards the top of the league again, though! Jaren and Santi have been playing out of their minds so far this season and Ja will always be Ja!

As I've been saying for a few years now, they'll need to either make threes harder (either by taking away corner threes or extending the 3PT line) or start devaluing them some other way. Analytics have taken over the NBA now and every team plays exactly the same way with Boston effectively perfecting the strategy. I still don't know whether the NBA has the willingness to actually make the same kind of game changes that MLB has (Silver is a gutless commissioner and always has been) but they need to do it. |

I don’t remember who but several years ago one of the analysts had an idea to “save the NBA” by eliminating the corner 3. Basically the 3 point arc wouldn’t bend and head to the baseline. It would just extend on its path to the sideline.
The 3 becomes much easier to defend and bigs would dominate more as it would be harder to pull them away from the basket. |
