I had a longtime lion fan at work I knew since 1984. Every year about this time his saying was the cream is rising to the top. He died not ever seeing the lions in a SB. So I understand your username.

Good luck starting week 2.

Mark Brunell is the Lions QB coach. Intredasting.

Looking at the 2022 schedule. I don't see the Lion love, at all. Jets, Giants, Bears oh my!

I was referring to the LAC. But I doubt KC is taking the Lions for granted.

Watched a few DET preseason highlight reels. Saw something i haven't seen this year anywhere else.

DET played press man complete with jams across the board, a lot. In preseason. So this will be a great test for our new WR room, if they come out playing like that.

other notes: LB play was okay, not great. But I admit I wasn't sure which LBs were 1s and which weren't in many clips. resolution was kind of grainy zoomed in.

DET didn't seem that good vs. the run.

They seem to have a fleet of very fast play-makers.

Good for them

As always, the opponent doesn't really matter. If The Chiefs execute, they'll win. If they **** around with their food, they could lose.

Just checked: Goff was 3rd in the NFL last season vs. the blitz. That seems like a typo to me, as I remember him being kind of shitty vs. the blitz back in 2019. But everyone's reporting that he was the 3rd best QB vs. the blitz last year.

Without Jones, the Lions have a good chance of keeping the game within 40

Chiefshrink 09-03-2023 09:18 PM

Every team attempts to keep Pat on the sidelines as much as they can with the run and the Lions will be successful against us with the run. Lions will be no different because Campbell knows he does not want to get into a track meet against Pat in Arrowhead on opening night although Goff did win their last track meet when he was in LA. But that was when Pat was much less experienced yet Pat dang near pulled that one out. Apples to oranges now. It forces Pat to be more perfect on just about every possession but not against the Lions. If we don't turn the ball over and execute on offense our defense just has to be mediocre and we should win as Meck says.:thumb:
